Loving the direction of the Omni Group Roadmap For 2023

Once again, The Omni Group has published their roadmap in January. It contains some great new information on:

• The Fediverse
• OmniGraffle
• OmniFocus

Side note - this is what I am falling in love with about OmniFocus 4:

The OmniFocus 4 user experience will focus on a simple outline of the things you need to do, where items and their notes can be edited in place. Replacing platform-specific interfaces with shared, cross-platform code will make the app’s features, interactions, and terminology more consistent across platform, bringing Mac-only features to iPhone and iPad and vice versa, while continuing to leverage the strengths of each platform. And, naturally, OmniFocus 4 will build this new SwiftUI interface on top of our rock-solid cross-platform data and syncing model developed over the past 15+ years.

The Omni Group is one of those teams that just doesn’t quit until they get it right. I can attest to this as I left the early beta process last year, only to come back and find that the app had really changed in design and usability (for the better).
