An About-face on the Apple Car®

I am not sad about this.

Frankly, I thought it may be overreaching for Apple to have gotten into the auto space. I get that they want to be everywhere, but Apple is currently on center stage in the automobile with CarPlay - and I would never buy another vehicle without it, as long as it is offered.

So, what next?

Does Apple double down on its dashboard takeover to have some semblance of control over the vehicle, now that the EV project has been abandoned? I sure hope so. I drive a VW. I love German engineering. But hopefully Apple is on track with the dashboard screens project (or whatever they are calling it) as they spoke about at 2022's Worldwide Developers Conference.

Here's to the future of vehicle infotainment, Apple style.
